Corporate Recruiter

Department: Administration/Human Resources
Location: San Antonio, TX

NIKA has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Recruiter working out of our San Antonio, TX office! This role will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process in all areas of engineering, facilities operations, and administration in support of our two offices and government contracts around the world.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a Human Resources or Business/Management curriculum.
  • SPHR a plus, but not required.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Oversee, direct and execute the recruiting team’s talent strategy.
  • Responsible for developing creative sourcing strategies that target high potential and diverse key talent in the architectural, engineering and medical facility operations industry.
  • Work with Business Unit Managers to ensure an understanding of job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills for open positions.
  • Identify hiring needs to source candidates, prescreen professionals, and schedule and conduct interviews.
  • Candidate will bring an agency-like mentality of speed, delivery and results to the corporate side, while focusing on superior customer service.
  • Utilization of technology to streamline recruitment processes, produce data reports, assists with relationship management with candidates, and to creatively source passive candidates.
  • Cultivate and maintain proactive internet sourcing methods to support robust building of candidate pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with prospective candidates.
  • Build and manage a referral network from employees and candidate pools.
  • Follow through of candidate availability and upkeep of recruiting databases and calendars.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and ensure candidates understand the policies and practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience required
  • Experience recruiting architectural, engineering and technical professionals required
  • Applicants with staffing industry, recruiting agency, or corporate recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with CONUS and OCONUS staffing strongly preferred
  • Ability to navigate Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required
  • Proficient with various job boards (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc.)
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team-oriented structure, and be a true team-player
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to changing requirements
